ABOUT EXPRESSIVE BABY
Expressive Baby operates as a monthly photo competition website, where registered users may submit photos of their child in a variety of contests, to compete for monthly prizes and cash.
All entries received by the end of the current month will automatically be entered into the next month's contest. (if you submit your photo into the competition on June 1, 2009, your photo will be entered into the contest beginning July 1, 2009.)
The contests are judged by a split voting system. Winners are determined from a cross 60/40 split. 40% of the votes are tallied based on our judges overall scores for each contestant. The judges scores account for 40% of the overall rankings each month. The other 60% of the scores are tallied based on the number of visitor votes received for each contestant. The reason we split the voting this way is to ensure that tour winners are chosen based on overall popularity, integrity and style.
Each month, the voting system chooses two winners in each category. Those winners will be notified through the account mail system and will be given a protected link to our prize gallery, where they will be able to choose their prizes from a variety of items, cash, and services.
Each month, the winning entries are collected and entered into our grand contest - Expressive Baby of the Year, with prizes and cash totalling over $2,500.
There are no limits to the number of entries you may submit each month, but voting is limited to 10 votes per day per member.
